💎 Duties, Taxes, and Customs (DDP vs. DAP)

Fugugemz simplifies international shopping by categorising destinations into two service levels:

1. DDP Markets (No Hidden Fees)

For the following regions, Fugugemz ships Delivered Duty Paid. All import taxes, VAT, and duties are included in the checkout price.

  • Included Regions: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, UAE, UK, and European Union.

2. DAP/DDU Markets (Buyer Responsible)

For regions not listed above, items are sent Delivered at Place.

  • Customer Responsibility: The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for local VAT/duties required by customs for package release.

  • Policy Note: Fugugemz cannot refund orders refused due to unpaid local customs fees.

It depends on your location. Fugugemz offers a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service for the USA, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, and several other key markets—meaning no surprise fees at delivery. For all other countries, orders are sent DAP, where the buyer is responsible for local import taxes.

Is my jewellery shipment insured?

Absolutely. Every Fugugemz shipment is  insured for its total value. In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged during transit, we contact the Carrier and provide a full replacement or refund after if it has been confirmed by the Carrier that the shipment has been lost.

Does Fugugemz offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer Free Standard Shipping based on order value:

  • Hong Kong: Free over HK$500.

  • USA & Rest of World: Free over $75 USD.

  • UK: Free over £60.

  • Europe: Free over €65.

What should I do if my Fugugemz package arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and jewellery immediately. Contact Info@fugugemz.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can expedite an insurance claim and exchange.
